get here. It's a beautiful part of the country with twisty little
roads running by the coast and then up over the moors. Ireland is
dotted with small mountain ranges and we've been through several of
those. The scenery goes from stark, almost barren rocky grassy hills
to tree lined valleys and shady lanes.
Over here, we've also seen a bit more of the old Ireland, slate roofed
little cottages nestled in a glen or overlooking the sea. The housing
boom here has had such an impact, not just on the economy, but also on
the way the country looks. Here are so many new houses, but to be
fair we've realized that the Irish keep their houses so well that even
the older houses look new. The houses are all freshly painted, the
gardens are imaculate - like new everywhere!
We've enjoyed the Guiness that everyone told us we must have, as a
matter of fact we've enjoyed a glass every night! I don't know if
it's something I'll continue to drink, but a half before dinner seems
to be very nice here!
What are two Guiness, Guinii?
